I'm 61 years old. I seriously trained in traditional art & music for many years, though life got in the way, so to speak, and I have gone down different paths.
I have a great interest in cultural anthropology & linguistics; libraries (there is nothing like the smell of a library containing thousands of books!); all forms of: architecture (especially wooden architecture from eastern Europe and all of Asia), archaeology, art, music, history (all ages/eras), astronomy, vehicles, animals, technology, fantasy, science fiction, animation, miniatures, anime & manga; all facets of nature; languages; genealogy; ukiyo-e and haiku; archery & martial arts; & some crafts - jewelry and knotting in particular; the supernatural; & very importantly, the interaction of all the above!!!
I realize that I have many favorites & watches. I go to almost all of the artists & general sites several times a month, even several times a week for some.
I've done very little of my own artwork the last 10 years or so, and yes, I have a tendency to live vicariously through others work. I have purchased paper, ink, pencils, pens, etc. to start doing my own work again, as well as supplies for designing & making jewelry. I can get lost in artwork for hours.
There you have it! A brief look into my life & times!
